Minami and the space toilet.
Apparently there's a camera inside the space toilet so the you can visually align the suction tube to your bung hole. Waiting for these innovations to reach the consumer market.

Now I regret not catching the Endeavour as it passed through the streets of LA - you get even a better sense of scale when you see the shuttle cruising next to trees and buildings.

Members only jacket
Cosco business center offers loaner jackets for their massive refrigerated section, but not in Minami size.
The Minami and the long walk into Costco Business Center.
Costco Business Center is both nothing special and everything facinating all in one.
Squid ink pasta for me and mac & cheese for Minami at Capricciosa, Torrance.
The squid ink pasta at Capricciosa in Torrance was good but the blackness mostly tasted of tomato sauce rather than anything uniquely distinct.

“はじめてのおつかい “ TV show. Hilarious Japanese reality show where they send little kids off on errands, on there own, for the 1st time.
The kids on the Japanese reality show "はじめてのおつかい" are not that much older than Minami but they set on missions like grocery shopping and recycling with often hilarious results.
